The 22.5mm wide DIN rail processor system with 4-fold switch extension is equipped with a 64-bit Cortex ™ -A53 16GHz processor. The system has 2GB DDR3 memory, an eMMC Flash with 8 / 16GB for the operating system and user software is provided. A µSD card drive is used for a flash expansion. From the processor, 2 GBit Ethernet ports lead to external access (to the Internet) and to a switch, which provides 4 more GBit Ethernet connections, which e.g. provide an intranet connection and can be added in PoE design. The HS-P 14E system has 1x USB2.0, 1x RS232 and 1x RS485 port, 1 reset button, 2x IN button, 16x GPI / O and 4 LEDs (1 is blue, 3 are red / green) for power and status displays. A 4 / 5G modem can also be added to the system. The system supply is DC24V (9V to 32V).
The HS-P 14E is suitable as an IoT gateway, in control cabinet construction, for home and industrial automation, security and monitoring, as a data collector and others, in the IoT area, Industry 4.0 and edge computing.
